RICHMOND, Va. - Freshman Reagan Garnsey was named the CAA co-Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.

Garnsey became the first Tribe women's golfer to earn the honor since 2024. She shared the distinction with Charleston's Molly Hardwick, who finished third at the Ironwood Invitational.

The Camden-Wyoming, Del., native earned the honor after placing fifth place at the Carolina Challenge Cup  on April 4. Garnsey fired a 1-under par 139, which was the seventh-best 36-hole score in program history and the best on a par 70 course. She totaled eight birdies over her two rounds.

Garnsey opened with a 2-under par 68 at UNC Finley Golf Course thanks to five birdies and followed with a 71 (+1) in round two. Her opening round score marked the first sub-par round of her career and was not only the 17th-best 18-hole score in school history but also equaled the best on a par 70 course in program lore.

Garnsey and the Tribe return to action at the CAA Championship, April 17-19, at The Clubs at St. James in Southport, N.C.
