RICHMOND, Va.— For the second consecutive week, and the third time this outdoor track & field season, a William & Mary athlete has been tabbed the Coastal Athletic Association's Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

Chris Arias earned the honor this week thanks to his performance at the Virginia Grand Prix.
Arias, a native of Red Bank, N.J, posted a season best toss of 67.56m in the javelin on Friday at the meet hosted by University of Virginia. The mark currently ranks as the best in the CAA this season and sits 14
th in the NCAA East Region. Arias also earned the top spot at the meet for the event.
Friday's mark stands second best in Arias' career, with his personal best of 68.35 in April of 2022.
Arias is the second member of the Tribe to earn the conference honor this season, with
Jason Nwosu grabbing the award just last week for the second time this spring.
