WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary men's and women's swim teams will wrap up their regular season competition at Virginia's Cavalier Invitational.
Prelims will begin at 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Finals are set for 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Ten programs will join the Tribe in Charlottesville, including host Virginia. The other programs include Duke, George Washington, Johns Hopkins, North Carolina, South Carolina, St. Bonaventure, Army, UNC Wilmington and Richmond.

Scouting the Tribe Women
In their most recent meet, the Tribe women secured a win over Georgetown in a 164.5-97.5. The women picked up 10 event wins, including a pair from both
Sophia Heilen and
Kat Vanbourgondien.
Lindsay Juhlin broke a pool and dual-meet record with her 100 Fly time, breaking the record she previously set in the Tribe's last meet at home.
Freshman
Lauren Tucker broke a pair of pool records and a dual-meet record in the 1650 Free and 400 IM. Tucker was named CAA Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season following her dominant performance.
Tucker earned a win in the 1650 Free with the 4th best time in the CAA, clocking in at 16:56.20 and moving into the program leaderboard, ranking 11th all-time in the event. She shattered both the pool and dual-meet records with the time, overtaking a 12-year-standing mark by over 16 seconds in a time trial of the 400 IM, Tucker made a CAA top-ten time of 4:28.21, breaking her second pool record of the meet.
Scouting the Tribe Men
The Tribe men's team also secured a victory over the Hoyas in their most recent meet, taking a 145-114 win for their first victory of home. On the men's side, the Green and Gold also secured 10 event wins. Freshman duo of
Aiden Bond and
David Yune led the team with two wins each, and Bond made appearances on both of the winning relays.
Seniors
Conor Sokolowsky and
Gavin Lamoureux also picked up wins against Georgetown as Sokolowsky secured a 100 Back victory with a 51.15 time and Lamoureux made a 50.37 time in the 100 Fly.
Scouting the Cavaliers
• The Virginia women are ranked No. 1 in the current CSCAA poll while the UVA men stand 20th.
• The Cavaliers will have the chance to swim season-best times this weekend before heading to Greensboro, N.C., for the 2024 ACC Championships.
• Virginia's women have posted 11 individual NCAA "A" standard times and in four relay events and NCAA "B" times in all 13 swimming events.
• The UVA men have NCAA "B" times in 11 of individual swimming events and three relays.
Record Report
Sophia Heilen has broken a pair of program records and a conference record, so far this season for the Tribe. The Green and Gold have broken 15 pool records this season, including 11 at home, and have overtaken nine W&M dual-meet records.
