ROCK HILL, S.C. – William & Mary cross country wrapped up the 2024 campaign at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships on Friday afternoon at Winthrop Farms.
 
The women's program finished 14th in the 34-team field with four runners placing in the top 100. The men's team took 20th with sophomore Hayes Trapp leading the way in 80th position.
 
Senior Kyra Holland turned in the best performance of her career at an NCAA Southeast Region Championship, crossing the line in 53rd place and a time of 21:50.8.
 
Junior Catherine Garrison improved six places from her finish at the regional last season. She moved up to 61st on Friday in a time of 22:00.8 after coming in 67th at last season's the event.
 
Freshman Molly Weithman (22:20.5) and senior Arianna DeBoer (22:26.8) both garnered top-100 finishes in 82nd and 86th, respectively. Freshman Maddie Gypson rounded out the Tribe's top-five in 104th at 22:44.5.
 
Trapp covered the 10K course on the men's side in 32:01.1 to earn his second-straight top-100 finish at the event.
 
Senior Sam Pritchard placed 101st in 32:23.5, while sophomore Brendan DiStefano was 109th (32:35.6). Senior Nate Jennings (32:51.7) and graduate student Zack Ericksen (32:51.9) rounded out the Tribe's scoring lineup in 124th and 125th, respectively.
