WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Welcome back to the great outdoors, Tribe! The William & Mary men's track & field team opens up its outdoor schedule on Friday, competing in Richmond's Fred Hardy Invitational. The event, which dates back to 2005, gets underway with field events at 9:30 a.m. and running events at 11:45 a.m. Green and Gold fans can catch all the action throughout the day via  live results or on ESPN+.

Chris Arias and Daniel Layton led the charge for the Tribe at last year's event. Layton captured a first-place finish in the 400m hurdles, coming in at 57.06. The now-senior standout also placed third in the 100m hurdles. Meanwhile, Arias finished top of the field in the javelin at 65.06m.
