ROCKVILLE, Md.— Charlie Bundy posted the round of the week for the William & Mary men's golf team in the final round of the Georgetown Intercollegiate. Bundy shot even-par 72 as the Tribe finished 10
th of 13 teams.
W&M posted matching scores of 306 on Sunday before posting 308 in the final round on Monday.
Florida was crowned the team champion at even-par, earning a 17-shot win over Loyola Maryland.
Bundy, a sophomore, also added scores of 76 and 77 on Sunday to aid him to a 22
nd place finish. He carded seven birdies over the 54-hole event.
Logan Hunter's 7-over total of 232 put him in a tie for 40
th when the dust settled. Hunter's best score was in the second round where he fired 75.
Jacob Newman made three birdies in the second round to post 2-over 74. He finished the event in T-45 with an 8-over-par total of 232.
The Tribe's lineup was rounded out by
Preston Burton and
Davis Adams. Burton shot scores of 74-82-78 and Adams 77-80-80. They finished T-49 and T-56 respectively.
