RICHMOND, Va. – William & Mary men's cross country sophomore Tyler Lipps was named the Colonial Athletic Association Runner of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
 
Lipps led the Tribe at the Christopher Newport Regional Preview with a runner-up finish. He crossed the line in 24:35.5, nearly three seconds ahead a third place. Three W&M harriers placed among the top five as the Tribe won the 20-team event.
 
The Tribe returns to action at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa., on Friday, Sept. 30.
