WILLIAMSBURG,VA.- Tribe swimming head coach
Nate Kellogg has announced the 2022-23 schedules for both the men's and women's programs Tuesday afternoon. Both programs will compete in seven dual meets as well as the West Virginia Invitational, the Toyota US Open, and the Cavalier Invitational before the culmination of the season at the CAA Championships in Hampton, Va.
The teams will open up the season October 1 in Wilmington facing off against CAA foe UNCW. The programs will then come home for the first of a pair of dual meets at the Bee McLeod Recreation Center to take on Johns Hopkins on October 15.
The Tribe will head to Baltimore the following weekend for a Friday night meet at Loyola Maryland before facing off against Towson on Saturday afternoon. November 5 will feature a split meet as the Tribe's men take on Delaware and the women battle James Madison. Both of those meets will be in Newark, Del.
The Green and Gold will travel to Morgantown for the West Virginia Invitational from November 17-19 and finish out the semester at the Toyota US Open November 30-December 3 Greensboro.
William & Mary will kick off the spring semester with a January 14 split dual as the women swim against East Carolina and the men take on Old Dominion. Both of those duals will be in Greenville, N.C. The following weekend the Tribe will honor the program's seniors prior to a meet against Davidson in the Bee McLeod Rec Center on Jan. 21.
The Tribe will head to Charlottesville for the Cavalier Invitational February 3-5 in a final tune-up before the CAA Championship Meet Feb. 22-25 where the women's team will look to repeat as conference champions. The women's NCAA Championship will be held March 15-18 in Knoxville, while the men's meet will be March 22-25 in Minneapolis.
