Swimming Splits Double-Dual Meet in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — William & Mary swimming split a double-dual meet in Annapolis, Md. on Saturday. The Tribe men's and women's teams took down UMBC 168-126 and 201-92, respectively, while falling to Navy 181-105 and 166-128.

W&M opened the day with a victory in the women's 200 medley relay as Julie Addison, Nelli Sandor, Sammy Randell, and Flynn Truskett finished in 1:43.07.

Addison had four victories on the day, including three individual wins. In the 100 back, the senior posted a winning time of 55.33. Grace McCardle finished right behind her with a time of 55.58.

Addison and McCardle also went first and second in the 200 back, posting times of 1:59.90 and 2:03.79, respectively. Addison rounded out her day with a first-place finish in the 200 IM, clocking in at 2:08.02.

Thomas Duncan won the men's 100 back as he tapped the finish line in 1:51.17.

The Tribe also swept the 1000 free. Lauren Tucker paced the women with a time of 10:19.83, while Brayden King led the men as he clocked in at 9:33.28.

Haley Lehman won the women's 500 free, clocking in at 4:59.60. In the women's 100 fly, Sammy Randell registered a victory with a time of 56.45.

The Tribe rounded out the afternoon with a win in the men's 400 free relay, as Alex Nelson, Aiden Bond, Connor Vargas, and David Yune teamed up to finish in 3:03.49.

UP NEXT
W&M has three weeks off before resuming competition on Sat, Oct. 31 against Johns Hopkins at the Rec Center. The action gets underway at noon.
