RICHMOND, Va. — William & Mary had a pair of swimmers earn all-conference weekly honors as
Aiden Bond and
Flynn Truskett were named the CAA Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Week, respectively, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Bond had a pair of individual victories against George Washington on Saturday, taking the 50 free (20.16) and 100 free (44.48). Both times are the fastest in the CAA this season.
Truskett was part of three victories, two in relay events and one individual race. The Glen Mills, Pa. native anchored the winning 400 free relay team that posted a pool-record time of 3:21.91. She was also the anchor for the 200 medley relay that placed first with a time of 1:40.58.
In the 50 free, Truskett finished in a league-best 23.24 to lead the field as the W&M women defeated GWU 174-87.
