WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Redshirt sophomore
Kristen Herr will represent the William & Mary women's track & field team tomorrow at the NCAA Eastern Preliminary Round. Hosted by Indiana University, Herr will compete in the javelin at 2:00 p.m. to open the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Bloomington, Indiana.

The Willow Street, Pa. native, will make her first appearance at the competition. At the 2022 Colonial Athletic Association Championships, Herr set a lifetime best placing second in the javelin with a mark of 45.19m. Herr's throw is tied for seventh in Tribe history.
The Eastern Preliminaries
The top-48 competitors in each event in both East Region and the West Region advanced to the opening round competitions this week. In the javelin, the top 48 competitors will be narrowed down to 12 athletes who will advance to the NCAA Championship Finals, June 8-11 in Eugene, Ore.
