RICHMOND, VA. - William & Mary men's track and field redshirt freshman Chris Arias was named the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Arias earned the honors after he threw a season-best in the javelin at the Virginia Challenge Apr. 22.  At a mark of 68.35m (224-03), Arias now stands as the third-best performer in the event in William & Mary history. The performance ranks 21st in the NCAA East Region, and it is the 31st best mark in the NCAA this season.
 
This marks the Red Bank, N.J native, second CAA honors this season.
