WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's golf wrapped up play the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, finishing eighth in the 15-team field on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Towson shot the best final round of 288 to earn the team title with an 882 overall, seven shots clear of second-place Georgetown.
 
Freshman Logan Hunter led the Tribe, finishing in a share of 17th place with a 226. He tallied three birdies during his final round.
 
Junior Trevor Binau fired a final round 76 with a trio of birdies to finish in the top 25. His 228 earned him a share of 22nd.
 
Redshirt freshman Jacob Newman shot the best final round for the Tribe's top team. His 75 moved him up to a share for 35th.
 
Sophomore Will Rieck led the Tribe's second squad with a 229, which was good for a share of 25th place. He led all Tribe players with a final round 74. Rieck also topped the team with eight birdies over the three rounds.
 
Up Next: The Tribe returns to action at the Villanova Wildcat Spring Invitational at the Radnor Valley Country Club on April 18-19.
