MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - The William & Mary women's golf team wrapped up the RiverTowne Invitational on Tuesday, shooting their best round of the tournament at 314 (+24) to finish the tournament in 12th place overall at 949 (+79). Oral Roberts continued their strong play, posting a 283 (-7) to win the tournament at 878 (+14) overall, beating Elon by 20 strokes. The individual winner was Siarra Stout of Lipscomb who shot a 214 (-2).
 
For the Tribe, senior Sarah Houle (Sandy Hook, Conn.) ended the tournament with her best round, posting a 1-under par 71 and tied for 18th place shooting a 229 (+13) overall. Junior Mikah McDonnell (Webster, N.Y.) ended in 49th place shooting a 238 (+22) overall. Freshman Emma Lu (Shenzhen, China) ended two shots behind McDonnell, shooting her best round of the tournament 79 (+7) to end with a 240 (+24) overall, tying for 52nd place. Freshmen Isabel Bae (Bristow, Va.) tied for 67th place, ending with a 245 (+29) overall, and redshirt senior Stefanie Guizar Diaz (Clearwater, Fla.) ended with a 250 (+34) overall and finish the tournament in 80th place. Competing as an individual, junior Cindy Zhou (Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada) finished tied for 71st at 246 (+30).
 
The Tribe returns to action next week at the River Landing Classic, March 7-8, at the River Landing Golf Course in Wallace, N.C.
