Reagan Garnsey Selected to WGCA All-American Scholar Team

FRISCO, Texas - William & Mary rising sophomore Reagan Garnsey was named to the 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team on Monday. She was 1,551 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.
 
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players. To be selected, a student-athlete must:
 
  • Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
  • Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
  • Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship
 
During her rookie campaign, Garnsey posted a stroke average of 79.04, which ranked 14th all-time among Tribe freshmen. She was named the CAA Player of the Week on April 8, following her fifth-place finish at the Carolina Challenge Cup. Garnsey's 1-under 139 was the seventh-best 36-hole score in program history and the best on a par 70 course. She capped the season by finishing 19th at CAA Championships.
