LYNCHBURG, Va. - The William & Mary women's track & field team competed at the Liberty Open Saturday morning. The events took place at the Brant Tolsma Indoor Track, where the Tribe competed alongside 28 other colleges and universities.

How it happened:

• Freshmen Arianna DeBoer ran 5.00.29 in the 1 Mile Run finishing fifth overall.
• Sophomores Chelsea Wallace (15.06m) and Keeley Suzenski (15.49m) both earned a personal best in the weight throw.
• Over in the 60-meter dash, Anna Kessler made it in the final as a freshman.
• Sophomore Megan Heidebrecht earned a second personal best of 5.64. She also earned a personal best in the triple jump with 11.76m placing third.
• Sophomore Chelsea Mitchell placed third overall in long jump 5.64m.
• Freshman Dana Abraham finished sixth in the triple jump 11.47m.
• Sophomore Olesya Sitkowski in the pole vault earned an ECAC qualifier mark of 3.67m.
• Freshmen Emily Ervin made her mark and won her section of the 200-meter dash.
• Ellie St. Martin tied for third in high jump 1.61m.

NEXT: The Tribe heads to Winston Salem, N.C. to compete at the JDL February Multi & Track Meet (4SA's), Feb. 7.
