Tribe Swimming Heads to Charlottesville for Cavalier Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- The William & Mary men's and women's swim teams will head to Charlottesville, this weekend for the Cavalier Invitational. The pod meet will take place Friday-Sunday and be the final tune-up for both teams before the CAA Championship. 
 
Both Tribe programs are looking to bounce back after close losses at Davidson last weekend. Noah Fields swept both butterfly events in the dual with the Wildcats, while Elizabeth Intihar took first in the 1,000 free, 500 free, and helped the women's 4x100 free relay team to a first-place finish. 
 
Joining the Tribe and host UVA will be George Washington, James Madison, Johns Hopkins, Pittsburgh, and Richmond. The prelims are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday with Finals beginning at 6:00 p.m. On Sunday events will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the final session will commence at 4:00 p.m.
 
The Cavalier Invitational schedule is as follows:
 
Friday- 200 Free Relay, 500 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free, 400 Medley Relay.
 
Saturday- 200 Medley Relay, 100 Fly, 400 IM, 200 Free, 100 Breast, 100 Back, 800 Free Relay.
 
Sunday- 1,650 Free, 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 400 Free Relay.
