ANNAPOLIS, MD. - The William & Mary women's track & field team competed at the Navy select Saturday. Hosted by the Naval Academy events took place at the Wesley A. Brown Field House, the Tribe earned personal best and top ECAC marks and times.
Field Events
Long Jump
Sophomore
Chelsea Mitchell placed first overall in long jump while sophomore
Megan Heidebrecht earned first runner up at (5.42m).
Shot Put
Sophomore
Keeley Suzenski placed first shot put with 14.24 and earned an ECAC qualifying mark.
Triple Jump
Rounding it out for the field events, Heidebrecht also won first place in triple jump at 11.59m.
Running Events
60m Dash
Kicking it off for the running events Mitchell (7.77) and freshmen
Emily Ervin (7.78) placed first and second in the 60m dash, respectively. Ervin set a new freshmen record in the event.
1 Mile
In the mile sophomore,
Molly Coyle finished with a personal best and sophomore
Emily Sell finished with a season-best.
400m Dash
The Green & Gold sophomores earned top-three finish in the 400 dash. Mary Gregory (56.3) placed first overall, earning an ECAC qualifying time.
Carly Swierbut placed second and
Amaya Johnson finished in third.
500m Dash
Sophomore
Grace Bir placed first in the 500m dash. Her time was an ECAC qualifying mark.
800m Dash
Over in the 800 freshmen,
Lucy Young brought it home for the Tribe in first place and recorded a personal best. Red-shirt sophomores
Anna Cestari, Jennifer Gerson, and
Hope Stephens also earned personal best in the event.

Megan Dougherty finished second overall at 3:07.48.
