WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary women's basketball team will wrap up its weekend road trip when it plays at UNCW on Sunday at 2 p.m.

W&M News and Notes
- Sunday's game will mark the first meeting between W&M and UNCW this season, as the teams will play again on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at Kaplan Arena. The teams last met on Feb. 9, 2020 when W&M earned a 63-55 victory at Trask Coliseum.
- In its last outing, W&M was edged at Charleston, 61-59, on Friday evening.
Riley Casey scored a season-high 30 points, while
Bre Bellamy nearly posted a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds.
- With her 30-point performance, Casey now leads the Tribe in scoring with 15.4 points per contest, a figure that ranks eighth in the Colonial Athletic Association. She also leads the CAA in 3-point percentage (42.1) and made 3-point field goals per game (3.19).

Sydney Wagner has also provided tremendous production this season and is averaging 13.3 points per game with 3.14 assists per game in a league-leading 36.4 minutes per game. Her assists average ranks among the CAA's top 10.
- Bellamy's 12-point, eight-rebound effort on Friday continued her stellar play this season as she is averaging 9.3 points per game with 5.4 rebounds per contest.
- The Tribe has been one of the most ferocious three-point defenses in Division I this season and ranks second in the CAA in 3-points field goal percentage defense (.272).
- The Tribe has been impressive from the free-throw line this season, ranking fourth in the CAA (73.4). On seven separate occasions this year, the Tribe has knocked down at least 10 free throws and the team has shot better than 73% six times. Individually,

Madison Magee all are shooting at least 75% on the year.
- The Tribe has held three opponents to 50 points or fewer this season, winning each of those three games. Under head coach
Ed Swanson, the Tribe has held opponents to under 50 points in 29 games and are 28-1 in those contests.
- W&M head coach
Ed Swanson enjoyed a noteworthy 2019-20 season individually. He was named the CAA Co-Coach of the Year following the Tribe's historic season. Swanson won his 500th career game on Nov. 26, became just the third coach in W&M history to win 100 games with the Tribe on Jan. 12, and was inducted into the Northeast Conference Hall of Fame in January.
