SOPHOMORE YEAR (2022-23)
Played in six games… Scored two points in three different games… Hauled in a rebound and recorded an assist, in addition to going 1-1 from the floor, in a season-high seven minutes of work against UNCW (01/27/23)… Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction. 

FRESHMAN YEAR (2021-22)
Named to the CAA All-Rookie Team… Was the CAA Rookie of the Week recipient for the week of 2/21/22… Played in 21 games and made six starts… Averaged over 19 minutes per game… Shot over 80% from the free throw line… Led the team in assists four times and once in scoring… Averaged 3.9 points per game and 1.4 rebounds per game… Scored four points in her collegiate debut and had a steal at Coppin State (11/11/21)... Went 4-6 from the field and recorded a season-high nine points in 15 minutes to help the Tribe beat Randolph (11/14/21)... Filled the stat sheet with four points, five assists, three rebounds, and a steal against Navy (11/16/21)... Dished out a career-high six assists and grabbed a pair of steals in a win over Hampton (11/29/21)... Grabbed a season-high four rebounds to go with seven points and three assists at Virginia (12/2/21).

PREP/HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year starter on varsity at William Fremd High School… Named to the Illinois All State team in 2019 and 2021 and named All-Conference in all four seasons… Three-time member of the All Area Girls Basketball Team Northwest Suburbs… Helped Fremd High School to a 2020 State Title and two Conference Titles… Averaged 13 points and seven rebounds per game as a senior.
 
PERSONAL
Daughter of Bruce and Sherry Montella... Made the Honor Roll all eight semesters of high school and was an Illinois Academic State Scholar… Member of the National Honor Society and Viking Advisory Mentorship Program… Father Bruce played football and baseball at the University of Chicago and spent time in the NFL with the Chicago Bears.
