The record came on the heels of a 1:01.67 mark in the prelims Friday morning, the 20th best time in the meet.

On Saturday morning, Heilen swam a 2:20.21 in the 200 fly to rank 19th and once again reach the final. The freshman dropped time to finish seventh in the B Final with a time of 2:18.98 Saturday evening.
