WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- For the first time in 2022, the William & Mary men's and women's swim teams will compete Saturday afternoon at the Bee McLeod Recreation Center. The men's team will welcome in Old Dominion, while the women will face off against ODU and ECU.
The meets will mark the final swims for Tribe seniors

Missy Cundiff,
Ellie Henry,
Anna Kenna, and
Rebecca Rogers. The seniors will be honored before the meet begins. In accordance with the Tribe swim team's Covid policy, only parents of senior swimmers will be able to attend Saturday's meet. Those limited attendees will be required to wear a mask at all times. Live video will be avaialable via the Tribe Swimming Facebook page.
Scouting the Tribe men: In the final dual meet of the fall, the William & Mary men outlasted UMBC 132-129 in a thrilling victory. Hertweck has been one of the men's highest scoring swimmers totaling three first place finishes to go with four second place times. Freshman
Micah Lowe has been outstanding with three first place times and four silver medal finishes.
Owen Miller has consistently reached the podium in the distance races, while
Cole Younger and
Noah Fields have podiumed in the breast and fly respectively.
Scouting Old Dominion's men: The Monarch's finished with a 1-1-1 record in three fall dual meets in 2021. The team fell 187-120 in a two day season-opening event with George Washington before bouncing back with a 147-147 tie the following week at Davidson. ODU finished up the dual portion of the fall schedule by defeating Gardner Webb 153-109 on Oct. 30.
Scouting the Tribe women: William & Mary swept all three of the fall dual meets defeating Johns Hopkins, Towson, and UMBC. Cundiff set a CAA record with a 21.98 time in the 50 free at the West Virginia Invitational and has won nine events over five meets this season.
Elizabeth Intihar has been outstanding in the distance races with five first place finishes and four second place times. Kenna has come in first in all six of her dual races this season, and
Annie Tuttle has dominated the breaststroke events with 10 wins on the season.

Grace Tramack,
Katie Stevenson, and
Corinne Davenport all have individual event wins on their 2021-22 resumes.
Scouting Old Dominion's women: The Old Dominion's women's team was unable to secure a dual meet win in the fall season. The Monarchs lost a tight home meet to George Washington before falling to Davidson and Campbell before participating in the West Virginia Invitational in November.
Scouting ECU's women: The Pirates began a busy fall slate with losses at UNC Asheville and Campbell to begin the 2021-22 season before defeating Barton and Chowan at the ECU Tri Meet. At the Richmond Duals, ECU came up short against George Mason and Davidson before finishing the dual schedule with losses at Liberty and to Penn State. The team wrapped up the fall at the TYR '85 Invite.
