Saric, who is ranked No. 97 nationally, improved to 2-1 at the event and 4-1 overall on the year with a straight-sets win to advance to the consolation finals of the Carolina Singles Draw. She dropped just five total games in a 6-2, 6-3 win over Princeton's Michelle Sorokko.
Saric and junior

In the quarterfinals, the Green and Gold pair dropped a 6-3 decision to Kansas's Sonia Smagina and Tiffany Lagarde. In the consolation side, Saric and Alhach fell to the Iowa State team of Thasaporn Naklo and Christin Hsieh, 6-3. The duo is 3-3 on the year.
