Ethan Mangum garnered Colonial Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week honors, the league announced on Wednesday.
Mangum became the first Tribe player to be named CAA Golfer of the Week since David Hicks in 2019.
Mangum improved seven spots on the final day of the River Run Collegiate to finish eighth and earn his first top-10 as a member of the Tribe. Overall, he carded a 1-over par 217. Mangum shot a 1-under 71 in the opening round, his second round under par with the Tribe. After a 74 in round two, he closed out the event with an even-par 72 on Tuesday to move into the top 10.
The Tribe returns to action at the Georgetown Intercollegiate, Oct. 10-11. The event will be played at the Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md.
