The William & Mary women's golf team had two players post the lowest scores of the day on Sunday in a dual-match with Richmond, but the Spiders were able to hold on for the team win, 609-625. The two teams played 36 holes at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Va., over a par-72 layout.

Allison Olberding (West Des Moines, Iowa) and sophomore
Cindy Zhou (Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada) both tied for the day's lowest score, at 149 (+5). Olberding had the best round of any player in the morning to lead wire-to-wire, shooting 74-75, while Zhou improved from a very solid 77 to start the day to finish with an even-par 72, the lowest round of the day by two strokes. Sarah Houle (Sandy Hook, Conn.) tied for sixth overall at 159 (+15), improving a stroke between rounds with an 80-79 pairing. Senior
Madison Elliott (Little River, S.C.) tied for 11th overall after improving 11 strokes between rounds to finish with an 81, and her classmate
Audrey Pulliam (Little Rock, Ark.) finished 13th with rounds of 87-88.
William & Mary will be back in action next week, hosting the W&M Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, March 29-30 on the River Course at Kingsmill Resort.
