WILLIAMSBURG, Va.- Sophomore Kyra Holland was named to the Colonial Athletic Association's women's Cross Country All-Conference team on Thursday.

Holland led the way for William & Mary at the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association Championships. Holland placed 14th overall at 22:32.60 and has garnered All-CAA honors for the second year in a row. The Tribe finished fifth at the conference championships.

The Warrenton, Va., native was the Tribe's top runner in this season. Holland was voted the William & Mary Student-Athlete of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery after competing at the Virginia Invitational, placing ninth among 87 competitors. She ran the 5K course in 18 minutes flat. Last season in the CAA Championships, Holland ran 20:11.8 to finish third overall, tying the all-time Tribe record for the best finish by a rookie.
