ROCKVILLE, Md. - William & Mary men's golf wrapped up play at the Howard Bison Invitational on Monday, finishing in second place one shot behind champion Bucknell.
 
Two Tribe players placed in the top five including graduate student Ethan Mangum and senior Matthew Feinstein. Mangum carded a 76 (+4) in the final round to end the tournament in second place at 226. Bucknell's Jackson Bussell edged Mangum by a stroke with a winning score of 224.
 
Senior Matthew Feinstein also carded a 76 (+4) on the last day to move up into a share of fourth place overall. It marked his first career top five finish.
 
As a team, the Tribe shot 312 (+24) on the final day to finish the tournament at 923 in second place just a shot behind Bucknell. The Bison also shot a 312 on the final day. Princeton finished third and fellow CAA team Towson was fourth.
 
Juniors Trevor Binau and Jimmy Taylor posted their best finishes of fall in a tie for 11th and 16th, respectively. Binau shot a 78 (+6) on the last day to add to his overall score of 234 (+18). Taylor shot a 236 (+20) for the tournament.
 
Freshman Logan Hunter tied for 23rd shooting a 239 (+23) overall. Sophomore Will Rieck, who competed as an individual, shot his best round of the tournament on the last day at 80 (+8) to finish the tournament in 37th place, shooting a 252 (+36) overall.
 
The Tribe returns to action at the Lehigh Invitational on October 22-23 in Bethlehem, Pa., at the Saucon Valley Country Club's Grace Course.
