RICHMOND, Va.—William & Mary freshman, Eli Felty, was named the CAA's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
 
Felty won the individual title at the Tribe's fall finale, the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate, on Sunday and Monday, posting a 4-under total to earn a one-shot victory. He became the first Tribe player to win medalist honors at a tournament since Matthew Fienstein at the VCU Shootout in 2022.
 
The North Chesterfield, Va. native also helped guide the Tribe to a seven-shot team win in the event, with scores of 294-279-279, for W&M's team first team title since the spring of 2018.
 
Felty's 4-under total consisted of a trio of rounds at even-par or better, leading off with an even-par 71 before playing the last two rounds with matching 69s. He led the field in pars with 43 over the 54 holes while also tying for the best effort on Kilmarlic Golf Club's par-4's at 1-under.
 
He is the second Tribe player to win CAA Golfer of the Week this year, joining fellow freshman Talon Dingledine.
