WILLIAMSBURG, Va.— The William & Mary men's golf team looks to conclude its already strong fall season on a high note, traveling to the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate in Powell's Point, N.C.
The 54-hole event will be held on Sunday and Monday at Killmarlic Golf Club, with 27 holes each day.
Last Time Out
The Tribe added another top five finish to the ledger, finishing in third out of 11 teams at the Georgetown Intercollegiate. Three individual top-10 performances paced the Tribe.
Preston Burton (+4) finished in third, while
Grady Williams (+7) and
Talon Dingledine (+7) each finished T-8.
Strong Fall
The Tribe has been stellar all fall, finishing in the top five in every tournament. Additionally,
Tim Pemberton's squad has posted scores of 296-or-better in all but one round.
Not Playing Like a Rookie
Talon Dingledine has been an absolute standout for the Tribe in his freshman fall. Dingledine has posted top-10 finishes in all of W&M's events thus far and has added a CAA Golfer of the Week honor as well.
