Make Your Bid: Head Coach Dane Fischer Takes Part in Coaches vs. Cancer Member for a Day Golf Auction

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary head men's basketball coach Dane Fischer joins fellow coaches across the country in supporting the fight against cancer this month by participating in the Coaches vs. Cancer Member for a Day presented by MGM Resorts. As part of the campaign, coaches donated a golf foursome to be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer and American Cancer Society. The auctions kick off today and run through Friday, Nov. 27, at 9 p.m. ET.

Fans can bid on the chance to invite three players to tee it up with Coach Fischer at Ford's Colony Country Club. The round includes lunch and will be played in the summer of 2021, due to COVID-19. Member for a Day and bdG Sports will coordinate the fulfillment with the winning bidder and schedule the outing on a date that Coach approves.  All proceeds from this program will fund critical lifesaving programs that are needed now more than ever in the fight against cancer.

For over 25 years, the Coaches vs. Cancer program, in collaboration with the National Association of Basketball Coaches, has united coaches and fans nationwide to help the American Cancer Society defeat a common enemy – cancer.
