WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's tennis wrapped up a strong showing at the Tribe Invitational on Sunday thanks to a quartet of singles wins. Junior Sebastian Quiros and sophomore Daniel Pellerito led the way for the Green and Gold with their third singles wins in as many days.
 
Over the three days of competition, W&M won 16 of its 22 singles matches against opponents from Penn, Old Dominion, Navy, VCU and Richmond.
 
Playing at the No. 2 spot, Quiros dropped just five games in a 6-3, 6-2 win over Penn's Jason Hildebrandt. The All-CAA First Team selection from last season improved to 7-5 on the year.
 
Pellerito wrapped up the fall season with his third-straight win at the Invite. He downed Zach Smith in straight-sets, 6-2, 7-6, to move to a team-best 11-3 in fall singles action.
 
Junior Chen Ruo and sophomore Oren Vasser posted straight-sets wins as well. Ruo improved to 2-1 at the Tribe Invite and 6-3 in fall action with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Penn's Noah Makarome. Vasser finished the Tribe Invite at 2-0 and the fall campaign at 6-5 thanks to a 7-5, 7-5 triumph over Penn's Jonah Jurick.
 
In doubles, Ruo and Vasser closed out the event with a perfect 3-0 mark. On Sunday, the Tribe duo topped Jurick and Zach Smith of Penn, 8-4.
