WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary men's tennis continues its fall season Thursday at the ITA Atlantic Region Championships in Blacksburg, Va.

The five-day event runs Thursday, Oct. 8, through Monday, Oct. 12, with Virginia Tech hosting competition at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center and Washington Street Courts. Matches begin at 9 a.m. each day, with live streaming available for matches at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.

Eight Tribe players will compete in the championships, including seniors Nikita Bortnichek and Oliver Hague, fifth-year Connor Kruger, juniors Theo Nilsson and Bryan Volk, sophomores Dylan Chou and Austin Cohen and freshman Omar Rhazali.

The tournament begins Thursday with qualifying singles action. Seven W&M players will compete in the 64-player qualifying draw, with 16 advancing to the main draw. Hague has already earned a spot in the main singles draw, which begins Friday.

The Tribe will also have four doubles teams competing in the main draw beginning Friday. Hague will pair with Kruger, Bortnichek with Nilsson, Volk with Cohen and Chou with Rhazali.

Cohen enters the tournament leading the Tribe with four singles victories this fall and a 4-2 record. Kruger and Bortnichek have each recorded three singles wins, while Rhazali leads W&M with a 6-2 doubles record.

Play begins each day at 9 a.m.

• Sunday: One round of singles and two rounds of doubles
