MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – The William & Mary women's golf team didn't lose a match as it picked up a pair of match play victories in the Oyster Shuck Match Play in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. on Monday. The Tribe advances to the championship match where they'll take on UNC Asheville tomorrow (April 4).
 
In the first round of the event, the Tribe cruised to a 5-0 victory over the host Citadel. The Tribe won all five of its individual matches. Sophomore Elizabeth Choi and junior Katie Edelblut won 7&6, while freshman Allison Olberding won 6&5. Senior Mia Zanghetti hung on for a 4&3 win, and sophomore Riley Corona rounded out a clean sweep with a one up.
 
W&M topped Presbyterian by a score of 4.5-0.5 in the semifinals, but had to pull out some close matches. Olberding pulled out a 5&4 triumph, while Edelblut, Zanghetti, and Corona all hung on for 1-up wins. Choi hung on to finish all square with Maiken Paulsen, who secured the Blue Hose's only half point.
 
The Green and Gold round out the Oyster Shuck Match Play with the championship match with UNC Asheville. Tee time is scheduled for 8 a.m.
