SCOUTING THE SPIDERS
Richmond will look to stack up a few wins after dropping its A10 series to Rhode Island, 2-1, last weekend. The Spiders enter mid-week action with a 13-21 mark. As a team, the Spiders are batting .278. Vinny Capra paces the offensive attack with a .375 batting average (51-for-136), 11 doubles, one triple, two home runs and 11 RBI. Johnathan De Marte, a .328 hitter (43-for-131), has a team-high 14 doubles and 27 RBI. The Spiders hold a 6.10 team ERA. Robbie Baker leads the pitching staff on 52.2 innings and 50 strikeouts. De Marte owns a team-best 2.00 ERA. Tracy Woodson is in his fourth season as head coach at Richmond. He owns a 93-98-1 mark in his tenure. Â

SCOUTING THE TERRAPINS
Maryland is coming off a Big Ten series sweep of Penn State last weekend, which improved its record to 24-11. The Terrapins are batting .271 as a team. Mary Costes headlines the lineup with a .369 batting average (52-for-141), adding six doubles, three triples and a team-best in eight home runs and 31 RBI. On the mound, the Terps sport a 3.74 team ERA. Brian Shaffer holds team-highs with 64 innings pitched and 67 strikeouts. John Szefc is entering his fifth season as the head coach of the Terps. He boasts a 166-110 mark at UM. Â

SERIES HISTORY vs. RICHMOND
William & Mary and Richmond will meet for the 159
th time in all-time series history on Tuesday afternoon. The Spiders hold the all-time series lead over the Tribe at 102-56. However, the Tribe won the previous meeting, 12-8, at Plumeri Park last season. Junior

LARGE AND IN CHARGE
Large is just three shy of reaching a career milestone 200 hits. Achieving the milestone would place him just outside of program's top 15 all-time most hits lists. Former player
Charley Gould (2013-16) ranks 16
th all-time in most hits with 214. The Chesterfield, Va., native is also five short of reaching 50 career doubles. He currently sits 15
th on the all-time lists and could tie for 10
th once he accomplishes the doubles landmark. So far this season, Large leads the team in hits (48) and RBI (32) and ties for second in doubles (13).

BEST IN THE LEAGUE
Redshirt sophomore
Nick Raquet maintains the top ERA in the Colonial Athletic Association at 2.30. During his previous start at ETSU (April 15), Raquet struck out nine batters and allowed three runs, all of them earned, on seven hits. The Boalsburg, Pa., native also ranks fifth in the conference with 57 strikeouts and his opponent batting average of .225 ties for third in the conference.

GOING, GOING GONE
The Tribe banged out a pair of home runs during the three-game series finale at ETSU on April 15. Large belted his fourth homer of the season on a solo shot to right field, while
Charles Ameer registered his sixth dinger, which is a team-high, behind a three-run bomb. Rookie
Patrick Ryan also notched his first career home run after launching a three-run shot to left center during series lid-lifter at ETSU (April 13). The Tribe are 6-3 when they hit two home runs in a game.

GOING STREAKING
Ameer saw his season-best 11-game hitting game come to an end during the second of a three-game set at ETSU (April 14). Ameer's streak ranks second on the team behind Large's 18-game hitting stretch. Another streak was broken up at ETSU as senior
Ryder Miconi's on-base torrid stopped at 13 games. His streak also stands second-best on team.

COMMONWEALTH CLASH
The contest against Richmond is the 10
th of 15 in-state clashes this season. The Tribe have already competed against Virginia (L, 11-3), Virginia Tech (W, 19-10; L, 3-2), VMI (W, 7-0), Norfolk State (W, 6-1; L, 9-3), Old Dominion (L, 11-6; L, 6-3), and VCU (W, 5-1). The remaining Commonwealth matchups includes James Madison (4/21-4/23) and George Mason (4/26). The Tribe is 4-5 against its in-state rivals.

WEEKLY AWARDS
The Green and Gold have collected an impressive five CAA weekly awards this season. Freshman
Brandon Raquet garnered his second CAA Rookie of the Week honor for the week of April 10. Raquet batted .692 (9-for-13) with two doubles, a triple, five runs scored and three RBI's in William & Mary's 3-1 week. The Tribe's pitching staff produced two Pitcher of the Week honorees in senior
Daniel Powers and sophomore
Bodie Sheehan. Powers earned his weekly accolade for the week of March 27 after picking up a win and his first career save. Sheehan garnered his for the week of March 6 by posting a career-best 11 strikeouts and contributing to a shutout win against Dayton (March 4). Ryan also received Rookie of the Week accolades on the week of Feb. 27, batting .444 (4-for-9) with four runs and four RBIs to help the Tribe sweep its home opening series against Lafafyette (Feb. 24-26).
