The William and Mary women's swimming got off to a strong start to the 2015 schedule on Saturday, hitting the road to beat Davidson 164-125. The Tribe improved to 6-3 on the year while the Wildcats fell to 4-3. With the win, W&M has now locked up a winning season, and its 11th-straight year with at least six wins.

Jessie Ustjanauskas (West Hartford, Conn.), who reclaimed the 100 fly dual-meet record with her performance of 56.10 seconds. Ustjanauskas also won the 200 free in 1:54.35, and swam the fly leg of the Tribe's victorious 200 medley relay. That team included
Noelle Klockner (Marlboro, N.J.),
Annie Valls (Miami, Fla.), Ustjanauskas, and
Jaimie Miller (Houston, Texas), and swam 1:45.21.
Miller was also a double-winner, taming the 50 free in 23.68 seconds and coming back after the first break to sweep the 100 free as well in 51.85 seconds. The freshman Valls won her signature event, the 100 breast, in 1:05.93, and classmate
Abby Mack (Wayne, Pa.) won the 200 fly in 2:05.33. Sophomore
Allie Christy (Williamsburg, Va.) won the 200 breast with a time of 2:20.69, and classmate
Selina Fuller (Henrico, Va.) rounded out the gold medalists in the 200 back, stopping the clock in 2:05.10.
William and Mary is back on the road in two weeks, swimming at Old Dominion on Saturday, Jan. 24.
