The William and Mary men's and women's swimming teams were honored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America recently, for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester.  The CSCAA recognizes both teams and individuals in its award process, the latter requiring athletes to have qualified for the NCAA Championships.

The W&M men's team was one of just 70 programs nationwide to earn All-Academic team honors, combining for a team GPA of 3.11.  The women's team, bolstered by three women with a perfect 4.0, averaged 3.40, ranking among the top 50 teams in the nation.
