As she has all year long, junior Megan Howard (McLean, Va.) was the headliner with two victories as well as a spot on the Tribe's top two relays.  In the 50 free, she touched the wall in 23.48 seconds, and in the 100 fly, she broke the W&M dual meet record with her winning time of 56.16.  Howard is now undefeated in 2014 and winner of 10 races in a row dating back to the Hokie Invitational, as well as 14 of her last 16 and 26 of 30 races total on the year.  Howard also led-off the winning 400 free relay, combining with Jessie Ustjanauskas (West Hartford, Conn.), Jen Bentley (Jamestown, N.Y.), and Jaimie Miller (Houston, Texas) to time 3:29.47.  Howard and Miller also swam on the second-place 200 medley relay to start the meet in 1:46.94, teamming up with Sophie Rittenhouse (London, England) and Courtney Mizerak (Manassas, Va.).

Also victorious on the day was the freshman Miller, who claimed the 100 free in 52.31 seconds after taking third in the 50 at 24.13 seconds.  Junior Liz Glenn (Greenwood Village, Colo.) continued her domination of the 200 back, winning in 2:01.05 ahead of her teammate Rittenhouse, second in 2:02.22.  Glenn was also second in the 100 back, stopping the clock in 57.20 seconds.  Ustjanauskas took a silver medal or her own in the 100 fly, timing 56.47, and the 400 free relay team of Sara Shaner (Clarendon Hills, Ill.), Greta Schneider (Moorestown, N.J.), Sara Schad (North Yarmouth, Maine), and Noelle Klockner (Marlboro, N.J.) also finished second in 3:34.32.

With the regular season complete, William and Mary turns its attention to the year-end invitationals and championships.  First up will be the Cavalier Invitational in two weeks, Feb. 14-15, which will both serve as the end-of-year meet for the swimmers who don't make the CAA squad, as well as a tune-up for select members of the conference team.
