The William and Mary women's swimming team rolled past Mary Washington Friday night in the home opener, winning 220-39 over the Eagles. The Tribe won all 14 events on the evening, as well as broke a dual-meet record and set four lifetime-bests.

Meghan Schilken (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and
Annie Valls (Miami, Fla.) teamed up with senior
Megan Howard (McLean, Va.) and sophomore
Jaimie Miller (Houston, Texas) for the win in 1:44.97, which was also the 12th-fastest time in school history.
Individually, Howard led all swimmers with 20.75 points, adding a pair of individual golds to her relay exploits. First, she took the 100 back in 58.46 seconds, and then she came back in the 100 fly to time 56.26, winning by more than two seconds. Sophomores
Allie Christy (Williamsburg, Va.) and
Selina Fuller (Henrico, Va.) also took a pair of individual wins in the meet. Christy took the 200 breast in 2:25.03, and the 200 IM in 2:11.41. In her one race that she didn't win, she was able to set a lifetime-best by more than 1.5 seconds in the 100 back (1:05.23). For her part, Fuller won the 200 free in 1:56.25, before gliding to a 2:06.49 win in the 200 back. Fuller also set a lifetime-best in the 100 free, leading-off the Tribe's silver-medal 400 free relay in 54.68 seconds.
The single-event winners included Miller, who won the 500 free with a massive personal best of 15.6 seconds. Miller stopped the clock in 5:12.16 for the win, and was also third in 100 back at 1:00.56. Classmate
Georgie Crompton (Brooklandville, Md.) won the 100 free in 53.94 before a silver-medal showing in the 100 fly, touching the wall in 58.44 seconds in that one. She also swam lead-off on the winning 400 free relay, teaming with
Abby Mack (Wayne, Pa.),
Noelle Klockner (Marlboro, N.J.), and
Jess Russell (Brunswick, Maine) to complete the circuit in 3:37.50.
Klockner was an individual winner as well, storming to a 24.58 victory in the 50 free. The junior was also third in the 200 free, at 1:57.59. Junior
Rachel Cortright (Ridgewood, N.J.) timed 2:11.42 for the win in the 200 fly, before coming back a short time later to take third in the 500 free at 5:24.66. The Tribe also had a pair of rookies claim titles on the night. Freshman
Bailey Hall (Henrico, Va.) did distance duty and won the 1000 free in 10:37.31, before finishing second in the 500 with a time of 5:15.51.
Jess Crowley (Acton, Mass.) out-paced the field in the 100 breast with her winning time of 1:07.42, a performance that was a lifetime-best by 0.24 seconds. She also finished third in the 200 IM, stopping the clock in 2:13.29.
William and Mary is back in action next weekend, traveling south to Wilmington, N.C. for the CAA Pod Meet on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 1-2. The Tribe's opponents will once again include UNCW, Delaware, and conference runner-up James Madison.
