In the process of claiming team accolades, Owens left his mark on the Tribe record books. To this day, he ranks first in school history with 41 assists, while his 111 career points stand fourth. Owens started 90 matches during his career, which rank second in the Green and Gold annals. Owens' 13 game-winning scores rank second most all-time, while his 35 career goals stand at ninth.
As a freshman, Owens garnered All-CAA second-team accolades and All-South Atlantic Region honors.
