The William and Mary women's swimming team finished the CAA Pod Meet Saturday with a 2-1 mark, defeating conference opponents Delaware and UNCW before falling to host James Madison. The Tribe beat the Seahawks 195-146 and the Blue Hens198.5-148.5, while the score against the Dukes was 223-124. W&M is now 4-2 on the season, and 2-2 in league action.

Megan Howard (McLean, Va.), who picked up wins against all three teams in both of her individual events. She timed 51.91 seconds to claim victory in the 100 free, and came back later to win the 100 fly in 57.39 seconds. Howard also led-off the Tribe's 400 free relay that beat UNCW and Delaware, teaming with
Jaimie Miller (Houston, Texas),
Jen Bentley (Jamestown, N.Y.), and
Noelle Klockner (Marlboro, N.J.) to time 3:29.68.
Also claiming victory on the day was junior
Liz Glenn (Greenwood Village, Colo.), who was the triple-winner in the 200 back in a time of 2:01.27. Freshman
Selina Fuller (Henrico, Va.) beat swimmers from both UNCW and Delaware in the 500 free with a time of 5:09.56, and the 200 medley relay of
Sophie Rittenhouse (London, England),
Courtney Mizerak (Manassas, Va.),
Jessie Ustjanauskas (West Hartford, Conn.), and
Greta Schneider (Moorestown, N.J.) also claimed victory over the Seahawks and Blue Hens in 1:47.53. Ustjanauskas rounded out the notable performances with her runner-up showing the 100 fly, where she tied her lifetime-best in 57.43 seconds to rank 14th all-time at W&M.
William and Mary is back in action next weekend, swimming at Duke on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m.
