The William and Mary men's swimming went on the road Saturday to take on Virginia Tech, falling to the Hokies 160-97. The Tribe is now 5-3 on the year, while VT improved to 8-1-1.

Leading the way for the Tribe once again was junior
Andrew Strait (Henrico, Va.), who swept his two individual events. He won the 200 breast in 2:06.27, and came back later in the meet to take the 400 IM in 4:04.36. Also winning was the 200 free relay, made up of seniors
Sidney Glass (Mechanicsville, Va.),
Hunter Perrot (Falls Church, Va.),
Ben Ward (Maitland, Va.), and freshman
Billy Russell (Newport News, Va.). The quartet completed the eight lnegths of the pool in 1:24.69.
Silver-medals in the meet went to four more Tribe athletes as well as the 400 medley relay. Freshman
Will Manion (Haddonfield, N.J.) had a hand in both, leading-off the relay to a time of 3:24.02 before finishing 51.26 in the 100 back. Joining him on the relay was Strait, freshman
Justin Barden (Gordonsville, Va.), and Perrot. Also second was sophomore
Kemp Pettyjohn (Lynchburg, Va.), who finished the 1000 free in 9:46.89, and classmate
Chris Dong (Chapel Hill, N.C.), timing 58.06 in the 100 breast. Freshman
Andrew Nyce (Vienna, Va.) rounded out the runners-up, timing 4:13.07 behind Strait in the 400 IM.
William and Mary is back in action next weekend, traveling down to Norfolk to take on Old Dominion at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26.
