Made the B finals in both backstrokes at the Hokie Fall Invitational ... Finished 10th in the 100 back and 12th in the 200 back ... Also made the C finals in the 50 free, finishing 22nd ... Won three races.

2011-12
Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100m backstroke ... Swam 58.79 in Omaha to rank 118th in the preliminary round ... Made the finals of all three of his events at the CAA Championships ... Best finish was fifth in the 100 back, where his finals time of 49.75 ranked him second in school history ... Won the consolation heat of the 200 back, and finished 11th in the 50 free ... Swam lifetime-bests in both events during the prelims ... Helped the Tribe set school records in both the 200 free relay and the 200 medley relay ... Earned a bronze medal and an NCAA provisional-qualification swimming the second leg of the free relay ... Lead-off on the medley relay ... Collected nine victories over the course of the year ... Ranked third on the team with 211 points.

Sophomore Year (2010-11): Led off both of the Tribe's medley relay teams at the CAA Championships ... The 400 medley team swam the second-fastest time in school history, behind only the technical-suit aided team of 2009 ... Opening leg of 23.42 in the 200 medley relay was just off of his all-time best for the 50 back ... Also swam on the 200 free relay that also posted the second-fastest time in school history ... Individually, set lifetime-bests in both backstroke events ... Timed 50.67 in the finals of the 100 backstroke ... In the 200 back, his finals time of 1:51.34 made him just the second Tribe athlete in the last decade to go under 1:51.5 ... Ranks fourth all-time in both events in school history ... Stands just outside the all-time top-10 in the 50 free, after timing 21.15 in the preliminary round.

Freshman Year (2009-10): Finished 11th in the 100 back with a time of 51.20 at the CAA Championships … Swam a time of 51.03 in the 100 back in the prelims, good for fourth best in school history … Came in 15th in the 200 back with a time of 1:54.90 … His time of 1:53.04 in the 200 back in the prelims was eighth best in school history … Member of the 200 medley relay team which finished third with a time of 1:31.43, the second-best time in school history … Placed 12th in the 200 back at the Terrapin Cup Invitational with a time of 1:56.37 … Finished 17th in the 200 IM with a time of 1:57.14 at the Terrapin Cup … Touched 13th in the 100 back at the Terrapin Cup Invitational with a time of 53.44 …Also finished 24th in the 200 free at the same meet … Member of the 200 medley relay team which finished fifth at the Terrapin Cup with a time of 1:34.71 … Came in sixth as a member of the 400 medley relay team with a time of 3:27.65 at the Terrapin Cup Invitational … Took second in the 200 back with a time of 1:54.96 versus ECU … Finished first as a member of the 400 free relay squad versus ECU with a time of 3:11.43 … Touched second in the 100 back with a time of 52.84 versus Delaware and UMBC … Took second in the 100 back versus ODU … Earned a second-place finish versus Davidson in the 200 back with a time of 1:59.17 … Came in first in the 100 back versus Mary Washington … Also came in first as a member of the 200 medley relay squad versus the Eagles … Finished first in the 200 back with a time of 1:57.51 versus Towson …
