Opened the year with a lifetime-best 20.70 in the 50 free against Towson ... Consolation finalist in three events at the Hokie Fall Invitational ... Finished 11th in the 50 free ... 13th in both the 100 free and the 100 breast ... Won five races.
2011-12
Anchored the Tribe's 200 free relay to a bronze medal and the school record at the CAA Championships ... Also swam on the 400 free relay that had the third-fastest time in school history ... Advanced to the championship heat in the 100 breast, where he finished eighth in 57.56 seconds ... Consolation-finalist in the 50 free, finishing 10th ... Made the B finals in all three of his events at the Terrapin Cup ... 10th in the 50 free, 13th in the 100 breast, and 16th in the 200 breast ... Finished the year fourth on the team with 180.75 points and seven wins ... Won one race at every meet except against East Carolina.
2010-11: Two-event finalist at the CAA Championships, and just missed in a third ... Tied for 11th in the 50 free, with a lifetime-best effort of 20.86 seconds ... Touched the wall in 57.07 in the finals of the 100 breast, good for 12th place ... In the 100 free, swam an impressive 46.50 seconds, but was the 17th finisher in prelims (the top 16 advanced) ...
