WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The
home of William and Mary Tribe baseball, Plumeri Park, will be undergoing some significant
renovations this summer.
On the renovations, Tribe head coach Frank Leoni said, "Our
field had over four inches of excessive material removed from the surface,
including the infield dirt. The grade on the field is now nearly flat,
with a sufficient pitch to allow for improved drainage. The field has not
seen this type of renovation since it was constructed in 1999."
Leoni continued on to say, "Without question, we will have
one of the finest playing surfaces in the CAA and
region. Plumeri Park continues to be one of the premier college
baseball facilities at the mid-major level."
