GMU, however, showed why it was undefeated in conference play with a an extended run in the middle of set to take the lead and run out to an insurmountable margin. Senior setter Cassie Crumal (Castle Rock, Colo.) had a perfect two kills on two attacks as the Tribe worked to close the gap late, and Kresch and Skipper both finished with a trio of kills in the frame. The Tribe responded late and made them work for the win, with a 4-1 run that included two of Lang's kills and another from Bray.

The Tribe will look to end it's road trip on a high note Saturday night, as the team heads to Harrisonburg to face James Madison at 7 p.m.
