Katie Radloff and Ruth Anne Miller '03 Named to CAA 25th Anniversary Women's Swimming and Diving Team

Richmond, Va. - William and Mary Tribe senior Katie Radloff and alumnus Ruth Anne Miller '03 were named to the Colonial Athletic Association's 25th Anniversary team on Thursday, the conference office announced.

As part of its 25th Anniversary celebration in 2009-10, the CAA is recognizing Silver Anniversary teams in 21 championship sports. The teams are selected by a panel of current and former head coaches in the conference. Women's swimming and diving has been part of the CAA since the league began in 1985-86 and the conference has featured athletes who have performed well on a national and international level.

Radloff, who was one of only two current athletes to make the team, has been a standout since her arrival in Williamsburg. Radloff is a three-time NCAA qualifier and was named the CAA Swimmer of the Year in both 2007 and 2008. Radloff is also a 17-time CAA champion and holds nine William and Mary school records and six CAA records. In 2008, Radloff was the first swimmer in school's history to qualify for the Olympic Trials.

Miller is one of the most versatile swimmers in the history of the College, swimming four different events, the 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM, and 400 IM, at the 2003 NCAA Championships. Miller, who was selected as the CAA Performer of the Year in 2003, was a five-time CAA champion, including two individual titles in the 200 individual medley. Miller remains the school record holder in the 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM,and 400 IM.
