ST. HELENA ISLAND, S.C. - William & Mary men's golf freshman Talon Dingledine moved up a spot and remained in the top 10 at the CAA Championships following the second day of competition on the Cotton Dike Course at the Dataw Island Club.
 
As a team, the Tribe shot a 299 (+11) and are tied for seventh in the CAA standings with Drexel at 586 (+10). UNCW continues to lead the CAA Championships at 558 (-18) and is seven shots clear of second place Campbell. UNCW's James Rico continues to lead the individual leaderboard at 8-under 134.
 
Dingledine fired an even-par 72 in the second round on Monday. He collected 14 pars to go along with two birdies on the par-5 seventh and par-3 12th holes. Through two rounds, Dingledine is five shots behind the leader in a share of eighth place at 3-under 141.
 
Freshman Eli Felty shot the second-best round of the day for W&M with a 73 (+1). He put together a fairly clean card with 15 pars to go along with a birdie on the par-5 third hole. Felty is tied for 32nd at 148 (+4).
 
Junior Preston Burton, graduate student Matthew Monastero, and sophomore Grady Williams each finished at 77 (+5) on day two of the CAA Championships. Burton is in a tie for 28th through two rounds at 147 (+3), while Monastero is in 36th at 150 (+6). Williams led the Tribe with five birdies on Monday and currently sits in 39th place at 152 (+8).
 
The Tribe will tee off in the final round of the CAA Championships at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and be paired with Drexel, who is tied with W&M for seventh place through 36 holes.
