MARICOPA, Ariz. - William & Mary men's golf wrapped up the season, equaling the program record with a 21-under 54-hole total at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club at the Golfweek National Golf Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Tribe finished sixth in the 10-team postseason field with a 843 total, which tied the program record from 2022 at the VCU shootout. Grand Canyon took home the NGI title shooting a 52-under 812 to win the event by 14 strokes.
 
Freshman Talon Dingledine led the way for the Tribe, earning his school-record tying eight top 10 showing. He posted another school record with his 17th round of par or better this season, posting a 2-under 70 on Sunday thanks to five birdies. He finished the tournament in a share of ninth place at 8-under 208. His total ranks fifth on the Tribe's all-time tournament list.
 
Junior Preston Burton tallied his 15th round of par or better this season, shooting a 1-under 71 on Sunday. His single-season total ranks second in school history. Burton ended the tournament at 2-under 214, ranking 27th in the field.
 
Graduate student Matthew Monastero rounded out his career with a 6-under 210 total to finish in 18th place. He shot a 1-over 73 on Sunday. Monastero's tournament total was a career best and ranks 10th in W&M history.
 
Sophomore Grady Williams rounded out the Tribe's scoring group on Sunday. He shot a third round 3-over 75 to finish the tournament at 218 (+20) in a tie for 40th.
 
Freshman Eli Felty shot a 79 (+7) on Sunday and finished the tournament in 35th place at even-par 216.
 
The Tribe rounded out the season with a stroke average of 289.72, nearly three strokes ahead of the previous school-record mark set in 2022-23.
