RICHMOND, Va. — For the third time this season, William & Mary infielder Matthew Kosuda has been named the CAA's Rookie of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Kosuda posted video game-like numbers over the week, batting .550 with seven runs, one homer, and nine RBI while slugging .900. He had hits in all four of the Tribe's games, extending his career-long hitting streak to 13 games.

On Saturday, the Livingston, N.J. native went a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with three RBI and two steals in a blowout win over North Carolina A&T, equaling the most hits in a game by a W&M player since 2012. He helped spark a sweep of the Aggies, collecting eight hits and six RBI over three games.

Kosuda also had a 3-for-5 day with three RBI in Tuesday's game at Richmond, including a two-run homer.

It marks the fourth time a Tribe player has won CAA Rookie of the Week honors this season. No other CAA program has done it more than twice.
