Tribe Earns No. 6 Seed, Set to Host CAA Men’s Tennis Championship

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary earned the No. 6 seed in the 2026 CAA Men's Tennis Championship and will host the event at the Mackesy Tennis Center at the Millie West Courts, April 17–19.

The Green and Gold will open tournament play against No. 3 Campbell on Friday, April 17, at noon. Admission is free to all matches.

William & Mary enters the championship on a two-match win streak and closed the regular season with a 9–12 overall record.

The six-team championship begins on Friday with two quarterfinal contests. The winners advance to Saturday's semifinals, scheduled for 9:00 a.m. and noon., with the championship match set for Sunday at 10 a.m. An automatic berth to the NCAA Men's Tennis Championship will be on the line.

In CAA Tournament history, the Tribe has advanced to the championship match 12 times (1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2021) and captured league titles in 2005 and 2015. Overall, William & Mary owns four conference championships, including titles in 1987 and 1990 under the team points format.
